Brown wood cabinetry filled two built-in stations, with raised-panel doors, glass fronts, crown molding, wine storage, and matching side panels. Dark granite counters and square stone tile backsplashes kept both sections within a brown and gray palette. @paintasticartspainters Guys from, Paintastic Arts Painters kept the cabinet layout and detailed millwork instead of replacing either section. Their update centered on Benjamin Moore Brushed Blue CW-675, paired with white counters, slab backsplashes, brass hardware, and a brass faucet. Paint changes how the same cabinet profiles read. Deep blue creates more contrast around the molding, glass doors, wine rack, and stepped upper cabinets, yet the structure underneath remains the same. Cherry-Tone Cabinets Filled the First Built-In @paintasticartspainters Tall upper cabinets rise at different heights across this station, with crown molding wrapping each section. Two glass-front doors occupy the center, while raised-panel doors frame them on both sides. Matching base cabinets sit below a dark granite counter. Small square backsplash tiles continue across the wall, leaving little contrast between the wood, counter, and stone. Matching Wood Continued Around the Beverage Station paintasticartspainters Another built-in repeats the same cherry-tone finish across upper and lower cabinets. A lattice wine rack sits between tall cabinet sections, with stemware stored beneath it. Dark granite covers the counter around a small sink, while the same tile backsplash fills the wall behind it. A stainless beverage refrigerator breaks from the wood finish at the right end. Cabinet Boxes Stayed in Place During the Paint Work @paintasticartspainters Plastic covers the counters, backsplash, glass panels, and nearby walls during the paint process. The cabinet frames, crown molding, side panels, and wine rack remain fixed in place. Brushed Blue reaches across flat panels, narrow trim, deep molding, and recessed sections. Keeping those details intact allows the new finish to change the look without changing the cabinet structure. Brushed Blue Puts More Contrast Around the Glass Doors @paintasticartspainters Blue now covers the first station from the base drawers to the top molding. Glass-front doors remain at the center, but their narrow frames stand out more against the dark finish. White counters and a matching slab backsplash replace the granite and small tile. Brass pulls add another contrast point across doors and drawers. Wine Storage Became Part of the New Dark Palette @paintasticartspainters Brushed Blue also covers the wine rack, cabinet doors, crown molding, and lower storage around the beverage station. The lattice insert now blends with the surrounding cabinetry instead of reading as a separate wood feature. A white counter runs beneath the dark cabinets, while gray veining crosses the backsplash. Brass hardware and a brass faucet connect the upper and lower sections. Same Cabinetry, Different Finish @paintasticartspainters Side-by-side views show how much of the original cabinet design remains. Door profiles, glass inserts, cabinet heights, molding, drawer placement, and side panels all carry over. Brushed Blue CW-675 removes the cherry-tone finish from the equation, while white surfaces and brass accents reshape the palette around it.
